For the past, twenty years, I've been traveling and working as a performing songwriter, music educator, workshop and private instructor. I've had the opportunity to teach at retreats, camps, schools, conferences and festivals throughout the country.
Teaching is a natural extension to my veracious appetite for learning. Growing up in the public school system as a dyslexic student, I struggled to get an education. I started playing guitar at the age of six and it was always my opening door. It gave me focus and desire. The process of discovery and understanding fueled my passion. I learned to superimpose my love for music over my other curriculums.
Now when I teach, I like to use those experiences to help my students have a deeper connection to the process of learning. I want students to learn how to teach themselves so their passion and unique identity shines through whatever genre they are interested in. Come take a class and take your artistic world to the next level.
